Enter principal, monthly contribution, annual return and whole years (1β2,000). This version groups twelve monthly contributions into one year-end payment; it does not calculate monthly compounding. For explicit contribution timing use the Korean period calculator.
Balance after a year = previous balance Γ (1 + annual return) + monthly contribution Γ 12. Total principal = initial principal + monthly contribution Γ 12 Γ years. Returns may be zero or negative, down to β100%. Taxes and fees are excluded.
Example: 10,000 at 8% for 30 years without additions gives 100,626.57. Adding 500 per month, aggregated at year-end, gives 780,325.84. Starting at 0 with 500 per month for 20 years at 8% gives 274,571.79. All are hypothetical and displayed rounded to whole currency units.
Inflation divides the final amount by (1 + annual inflation)^years. The monthly contribution is not increased with inflation. A smooth constant return does not represent stock-market volatility or guaranteed income.
